JAMAS began its humble beginning in 1985 with a family meeting.  The 1st initals of each family member formed the name for our schools.  The Day Care Center opened in 1986 in East Orange,  NJ.  We became the guardians for children from 3 months - 5 years old.  Our children were always well taken care of.  Meals are served without pork or pork by products.  They received the best education, even our infants.  In 1990 our facility was becoming crowded and we found another location in East Orange, a 3-story building with a parking lot.  We served grades kind-8th.  The parents were and still are pleased with the high academic standards, discipline and safety of the school.  It is important to us to teach our children and other children about our True Ancient History, not just about our time as slaves.  In 2004 we started our High School with grades 9th and 10th.  As of 2006 we have increased the grades to the 12th grade.  Class sizes are small.

We are always trying to improve upon what we presently have for our students.. They are encouraged to aim high in all their academics and social life.

Uniforms are a requirement, being well groomed and neat is also a must.

Education with life skill, discipline, understanding and love in our business/life.  We see the students as our children, they are an extention of us and we have to guide and prepare them for the future.

Dedicated teachers who are also parents and grandparents.  We have the welfare of the children in our minds and hearts.  We are determined to prepare them to handle whatever comes their way.  We teach them to THINK, ANALYZE and HOW TO COME TO A CONCLUSION.
